Jonathan Creek Day #2

Hi Everyone!

Day #2 came and went like a flash of lightning!!!

It was filled with Tiger Ball, Ultimate Frisbee, Mountain Biking, Kayaking, Climbing, and yeah of course The BLOB!! Food has been great. We had smoked beef brisket, ham, green beans, mac & cheese, fries, and so much more. We have be learning about moving beyond our position, beyond our performance, and we are learning about beyond our own plans today with the focus on the plans that God has for us...

I am going to the lakefront to play, swim, and blob with the kids!!

The BLOB!!!!

Hey everyone, This is the waterfront out at Jonathan Creek. Jordan Iverson is Blobbing Jessica Hellman! : ) We are having a blast! We have taken a lot of pics, I will try to get them on here soon : ) Love You All!!

Jonathan Creek Day 1 !!!!

Hi Everyone,

Great first day! Everything was great: the weather, the food, the fellowship, the worship, the fun, and the message!

The 1st day was filled with lakefront activities including the ever so popular BLOB! We also had connect time, small and large group Bible Studies, and POIs including Tubing, Kayaking, Climbing, Pool Games, and more...

We have by far the biggest group here at Jonathan creek and it has been a whirlwind so far. I will try to post some more pictures soon!!

We Have Arrived Safely!

Hi Everyone!

Well, we made it Jonathan Creek safely. We arrived at about 3:50 yesterday and it was a whirlwind of a day. We have 72 attending camp this year, so room assignments were a challenge; fortunatley EVERYONE is happy with where they are staying.

We ate dinner at about 5pm. Hamburgers, chips, and rice krispy treats. They were excellent.

We closed out the night with Worship, Connect Time, and the Shack. It was a great 1st night. All of the kids got to meet their assigned camp leader and everyone is getting along great.

The Theme for this week is to take our relationship with Jesus Christ BEYOND our perceived limitations. We our encouraging our kids to take thier relationship with Jesus beyond camp, beyond church, beyond their self, to reach their passion to love and serve God and others.
