Hey Everyone,
I am sorry I havn't posted anything real recent, but the web was down for a while.
Day 3 was all about "Unpacking the Tools". We were reminded that even though we feel inadequate as Christians sometimes; Jesus Christ gives us everything we need. In fact, "His devine power has given us everything we need for life and Godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness." 2 Peter 1:3. We learned that we have a part in our walk, and that we have to do some training and not just trying. That once we are Christians, we don't just give everything to God and do nothing...We were reminded to get into the word of God, to pray to God, and to fellowship in the name of Jesus Christ.
It was just an all around great day. The food was great, we swam, we played football, we did our Points of Impact, and once again worship was incredible. We have spent alot of time in prayer, praying for each other, our families, our church, the other churches here at camp, and the staff of J-Creek.
Well, thanks for checking in. Below are some new pictures. Please continue to pray for us and God Bless you all...

Day #2 Tuesday, July 22nd
Hey Everyone,
Tuesday was a wonderful day. We started the day with a great breakfast and went right into Morning Celebration which was packed with info, fun, and $25 HILL BILL! -A hilarious character played by one of the staffers. Small Groups and Large Group focused on "Laying the Foundation". Lunch, POI's and C4 followed (what a power packed schedule. We learned in worship that our faith should be more of a combination of a life of Cost AND Joy. And not just completely focused on only Joy or only Cost...
The Shack special was chicken on a stick and it was delicious!
We are definitely growing closer as a group and closer to our Savior!
Thanks so much for your prayers and support & please continue to pray for us...
Thanks for checking in.............stay tuned.....
Time Alone With God
Hey Everyone,
Each day we have a time to reflect on the lesson for the day and spend time in the word and in prayer. I just love the theme of "Blue Print" which gives the students an opportunity to evaluate their lives. Monday we looked "Behind the Design". Yesterday we looked at "Lay the Foundation" which focused on Matthew 7:24-27. The key difference that was emphasized between the two builders was that they both heard the truth but the wise man was obedient and the foolish builder was not...
Our kids really seemed to "get this" and we had a great "Connect Time" last night after the message. Please continue to pray for our students, it means everything :)

High School J-Creek Camp ; Monday, July 20th Day #1
Hi Everyone,
Wow, what a jam packed day! I will try to give you all the highlights as best as I can:
We woke up and had an awesome breakfast (eggs, sausage, waffles, pancakes, biscuits & gravy...)
Breakfast was followed by Morning Celebration (Skits, announcements, and games)
Next our campers had small and large group study focusing on God's Ultimate HOLINESS and looking "Behind the Design"
Next - Some free time and then lunch (Sub Sandwiches and Chips)
Then our jam packed schedule included: 1)Connect Time - We get to spend time praying together as a group and the students spend Time Alone With God.
2)C4 --Competitive Controlled Chaos Challenge! or something like that - We played dodge ball and went down a huge slip and slide!
3) They have POI time (points of impact) - This included activities such as Tubing, Waterfront Activities, and Mountain Biking! Some of the guys talked me into going on the Mountain Biking activity with them...WOW, I almost passed out, but I made it!! It was a treacherous 3 mile course ( I really did not expect for it to be as difficult as it was! ) It was a real workout & a lot of fun!
We then went swimming and then it was time for dinner. Dinner was so great! Teriyaki / Pineapple Chicken, Fried Rice, and Steamed Veggies.
Worship was next and it could not have been better. We have been blessed with a great Worship Pastor and a wonderful Camp Pastor.
After that free time and then sleep time!
I can really see God moving already and our group growing closer to each other and closer to God. They are really an awesome group of kids.
Thanks so much for all of your prayers,
In Jesus Christ,
Matt

We Made It!!!!
Hi Everyone,
We made it safe and sound to J-Creek! We arrived about 3:30pm to a great welcome by Camp Staff. They are really awesome here. We got settled in and ate dinner at about 6:00pm (Hamburgers, Corn on the Cob, Beans...) Then we went to opening Celebration at 7:00pm; the worship was powerful and the students got introduced to the staff and the schedule. The Camp Pastor for this week is Tom Richtor and he is soooo great. He is a Pastor in New York City, originally from Murray, KY and is just an awesome guy.
I will keep you all posted on the days events. Hopefully, I will get you some pictures uploaded very soon.
Please, please pray for these students as we are here this week. Our hope is that they would be truly changed this week and that their relationship with Jesus Christ would be forever strengthened. The students names are as follows: Olivia Alexander, Austin Disney, Jessica Hellmann, Amy Hitch, Heath Holloman, Nathan Howarth, Justin Howarth, Stuart Iverson, Jordan Iverson, Stefan Iverson, Breann Sundell, Johnathan Williams, Blaine Wright. Adults: Matt Willgruber, Amie Willgruber and Sonya Blanton.
I will keep you all posted!!
Take Care & God Bless,
Matt
